Mark Emmert is the current president and CEO of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). He was the 30th president of his alma mater, the University of Washington—the first alumnus in 48 years to lead the university—and held high positions at Montana State University, University of Connecticut, and Louisiana State University beforehand.

Emmert is currently a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a fellow of the National Academy for Public Administration. He is a former Fulbright administrative fellow and a former fellow of the American Council on Education.
